Warehouse and Moving

Warehouse and Moving supports all Student Life departments by managing storage and deployment of furniture, equipment, and fixtures.

Support is also provided for office systems furniture, time-sensitive moves to ensure spaces can be utilized, and emergency moves to assist students in the residence halls. A partnership between FPD and Surplus allows the warehouse and moving crew to support departments with the removal of items in a timely fashion. Support is also given to students, student groups, and staff by supervision and leading the moving aspects of projects as well as large-scale events which include: Commencement, Student Life Move-In, Summer residence hall turn, Student Involvement Fair, Furniture upgrades, Surplus removal and Hall Director move.
